Create an EDM Flow in Shopify

Creating a shopify website can be easy, after you have registered your store and domain name. Customize your theme using your brand story template. 

Use the marketing tab to create email flows to capture details of the people landing on your site. Always have a 'Subscribe to our Newsletter' section and offer something for them to do so, offer a free sample or free PDF depending on your business structure. Giving is the best way to capture the required details you need to convert these emails into sales.

Find the marketing Tab in your shopify store and start creating EDM flows. I personally have a welcome pop up, a subscription section and a retargeting email. Retargeting EDMs will allow you to send a product or service update to the emails you have captured automatically. This is a great time to sell your products with a discount. I generally offer 10% off and set this retargeting email to flow within a week of them leaving your store. I also recommend an email asking for reviews from those who have made a purchase and set that to 2 weeks after a purchase. this allows enough time for delivery and usage. Direct them to your social media pages- this is called social proof.
